Reiki
Often translated as “universal life energy” Reiki is a powerful system for healing. By studying and understanding Reiki one may become more attuned to the energy that moves around, in, and through us. For me, Reiki has been about allowing God’s Holy Spirit to move through me to others that they might feel God's healing energy through the “laying on of hands.” Classes in Reiki will help the student become more aware of this universal energy and of how they may direct it for good and the healing of others. Those who have studied tai chi and experienced the movement of chi will find the study of Reiki a natural progression in their martial arts development.

Winter 2013 Reiki Workshops
Kit and I once again this winter, hosted four Reiki instructional workshops in January, February, and March. The workshops were extremely successful this year with 19 folks attending and being attuned to practice Reiki and Karuna Reiki. If you are interested in becoming attuned, or would just like more information about Reiki, please contact us; and watch this site as we will have information about next years workshops starting in October. Space for these workshops is limited, and we are able to accept only five (5) registrations for each session, so we encourage early registration if you decide to attend. If your are new to us, but have Reiki experience and certification, you will need to send a copy of your previous certificates when you register for classes. It should be noted that these classes are taught with the intent to certify you as a Reiki practitioner only, and are not designed to give you certification as a Reiki instructor. The cost for Reiki levels 1, 2, and Art is $200; $250 for Master level; $300 for Karuna Reiki levels 1 and 2; and $350 for Karuna Master level. All costs include materials, and a light breakfast and lunch for the day of the workshop.
